Q: How should I store the etched wines?

A:  60-70 degrees is best.  Room temperature is generally fine.  Main thing, don't let them get too hot or too cold, especially for an extended period of time.

Also, its best to "lay them down," as we say in wine speak. That is, store them horizontally so the cork stays moist.  On the other hand, we get that etched wines are also presentation pieces.  So, if you have them standing upright on display, just be sure to "lay them down" once or twice a month.

Q: How are the etched wines made?

A:  We start with really great wines, wines that have great age ability. They typically take about 2 years to make. Then for the actual etching itself, we sandblast the art design by hand into each individual bottle. Next we hand-paint each bottle with water-based, eco-friendly paints. Everything is hand done, very labor intensive, and no two bottles are exactly alike.  Our artists handle every bottle individually until the art is complete --- and they etch the bottle number into each bottle, right under the back label.

Q: Are these wines made for drinking?

A:  While they are absolutely high quality enough to drink, these etched wines are beautiful rock n' roll collectibles. They're limited edition, hand-numbered, certified, and made specifically for collecting. They're also a unique way commemorate Bon Jovi's incredible musical legacy. Save them, don't drink them. That's our vote.

Wine club wines, on the other hand, are made for enjoyment. They're carefully crafted in a range of styles to satisfy every palate. These wines are gorgeous, ready for you to enjoy to the fullest!

Q: How come you don't ship to all states / countries?

A:  We DO ship to the vast majority of states in the U.S.  But not all states or countries are legal to ship to, and they each have different legal requirements. We continue to add states and countries whenever reasonable to do so.

If you have questions (especially about large orders), reach out to support@etchedwine.com.  We might be able to help you out.  At one time or another, we have shipped large orders to every continent on the planet.

Q: What if my collectible wines get damaged?

A:  That's a tough one.  We're obviously not responsible for these wine care after they leave our care.  But if you damage them somehow, call us, lets see what we can do. Not sure if we can help, but if we can we absolutely will!  Teamwork makes the dream work, right?  ;)
